The Community has lost a true hero and a great friend. Frank Crowe, husband, father, grandfather, World War II Veteran, Past Grand Knight, Brother Knight, and member of Saint John the Baptist Church died last week.

He was a true example of how one lives his life: humbly, gently, lovingly, and with an extreme reverence towards God.

Frank was present at the Battle of Iwo Jima and was the bugler when the flag was raised. He received the Purple Heart for being wounded in action.

Frank was proud to be a marine, yet he never drew any attention to himself for his selfless acts in service of his country. Instead, friend raised his family, became active in the community and served his Church.

Now, he has gone to his just reward while we remain to mourn.

Frank, rest in peace. God's Speed, and Semper Fi..............
